We recently got a call from an area homeowner who needed some major repairs to their roof. We pride ourselves on our customer focus, so we worked closely with the homeowner. This roof had some flat areas and some areas with a low slope, and we determined that it needed replacing down to the roof deck or support layer, including a roof edge.

Our crew got to work immediately on our Stuart FL homeowner’s roof, first removing and replacing the damaged roof deck as well as installing a metal eave drip edge that helps water flow away from the house. We applied a self-adhered underlayment to the whole roof, which is a protective layer that keeps moisture out of the house structure.

Once the roof’s base layer was stable and secure, our experienced roofers installed a striated galvalume metal roof system. This kind of roof system is made from thick (26 gauge) metal panels that are ribbed to create channels for water to run down. The homeowner realized that his roof was starting to show signs of wear. The shingles were curling and he saw some water spots on the ceiling in his manufactured home. Concerned about structural damage, he decided to take action and began the process of finding a reputable residential roofing contractor to help.

He searched Google from his phone and found us. Based on our website and our reviews he decided to reach out to us. He called to tell us about his home and that he wanted a new roof but wasn’t sure what exactly he wanted, asking us to stop by to talk to him. We arrived for the estimate the next afternoon and ran through all of the options available to him. He liked the idea of having a metal roof installed for its durability and longevity in addition to the fact that they are environmentally responsible and fully recyclable.

We scheduled to come out two weeks from the day of the installation because he was heading out of town the day after we met for about a week and a half and he wanted to be present while we worked on his roof. When the day came, we arrived early in the morning and tore off his old roof quickly and efficiently, leaving no debris behind and replaced it with a beautiful and secure 26 GA 5V Galvalume Mill Finished Metal Roof.
